Many chats end after the price. The customer was interested, but nobody asked the next question. These four steps help you close a sale in Instagram DMs.

Answer the question and ask one more

After the price, ask one simple question: size, color, or delivery area. One question is easier to answer than three.

Confirm the order in one message

Repeat the item, size, color, price, delivery cost and address, and ask the customer to confirm. Ask for a phone number for the courier too.

Example: "Your order: [item], size [size], [color], [price] plus [delivery cost] delivery to [address]. Can you confirm and send a phone number for the courier?"

Make payment and delivery clear

Say how they pay and when the order arrives. If you need payment first, send the payment details in the same message. A clear next step makes it easy to say yes.

Follow up once, kindly

If the customer goes quiet, send one short, friendly follow-up the next day, for example: "Hi! Do you still want the [item]? Happy to help 😊". Do not push more than once.
